High school state tournaments bring fans together from across the state in one place, united in support of their communities and the young athletes representing their hometowns — making them an ideal setting for safety outreach.

Highway Safety School Presentation Tour Alliance has developed a highway safety presentation tour in partnership with state highway safety offices, delivering impactful safety presentations to high school students across the state.

Interactive School Display Tour Alliance visits schools across the state with an interactive display where students are invited to engage with hands-on elements such as a driving simulator and other campaign-related activities. The interactive tour is frequently conducted in conjunction with the school presentation tour.

Campaign Materials Kit Promotional materials are distributed to high schools across the state. Kits include campaign banners and posters for display throughout the school, sample announcements for use at sporting events and over the intercom during daily announcements, and flash drives loaded with campaign materials.

Teen Safety Week Alliance has planned and executed comprehensive marketing campaigns for state highway safety offices centered around Teen Safety Week, including school visits, campaign materials kits, and peer-to-peer digital marketing designed to reach teens directly.

Coaches Playbook Research has identified coaches as powerful influencers in teens’ lives. Alliance has partnered with state highway safety offices to create the Coaches Playbook — a campaign designed to educate coaches on highway safety and leverage their influence with student athletes.

Safe Driving Activities Pledge A key component of the Coaches Playbook campaign is the Safe Driving Activities Pledge. Activities directors are encouraged to require all extracurricular participants to sign a pledge committing to always wear their seatbelt, drive sober, and never drive distracted.

Team Photo Banners Alliance designs, produces, and distributes team photo banners to participating schools. Each banner features a team photo paired with the campaign message — a visible, lasting reminder of the safety commitment made by student athletes.
