Project Plan Ahead is a safe ride program developed to reduce impaired driving by connecting people with a free rideshare credit to get home safely on high-risk holidays and event nights. The goal is simple: save lives and prevent traffic fatalities by making the responsible choice the easiest one.

Rides are available within a designated coverage area and can be redeemed during program hours. Credits are available while supplies last and reset each day. Users are financially responsible for any costs beyond the provided credit amount.

Alliance works alongside state highway safety offices to bring the Project Plan Ahead message to communities statewide, reaching drivers through targeted outreach and engagement efforts that meet people where they are.
